MiniArt's 1/35th scale model of the Type 170V Lieferwagen is a WWII version of the German Mercedes-Benz 170V. The kit contains detailed plastic parts including interior, cargo area and engine. Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Mercedes-Benz Type 170V was one of the most widely used German passenger cars and light commercial vehicles produced before and during World War II. The Lieferwagen (van) version was designed for transporting smaller cargo, supplies and materials, and was used in the civilian sector as well as by the military. It featured a covered cargo area behind the driver's cab.
These vehicles were often deployed as supply and communication vehicles in the rear of the front line, but also in occupied territories or cities. Thanks to their reliability and simple design, they remained in service after the war.
